Canyon Chess Club

Since 2017, Canyon Chess Club has been an active participant and competitive middle school chess team in the region. Our club accepts members of all grade levels attending Canyon Hills Middle School and also schedules tutoring opportunities throughout the week. We participate in most tournaments in the city including the Texas Chess Association Region IV Chess Championship. In addition, our school has been an active competitive participant in the newly developed pilot program through the UIL Chess Puzzle program each year. In addition to our campus club, we also have a community club that is open to all youth of all ages, all districts and school programs. Club meetings are free of charge. We invite all chess enthusiasts interested in playing and connecting learners to knowledge of the game to participate with our community club. Check!
